Who we are

Crew Offshoring Solutions, Inc. (SEC Registration No. 2024090167492-09), a corporation organised under the laws of the Republic of the Philippines (“Crew Club”, “we”, “us”), is the personal information controller responsible for your personal data under the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173) and its Implementing Rules and Regulations.

Service Description

Crew Offshoring Solutions, Inc. (“Company”, “We”) provides the following services designed for Filipino remote professionals:

• Remote Jobs Board. A curated database of verified remote roles from global employers hiring specifically from the Philippines.
• Remote Work Knowledge. An educational hub providing guides, resume templates, interview preparation, and insider tips.
• Rewards & Giveaways. A licensed promotional Crew Club Portal featuring automatic entries into weekly draws for tech, cash, and surprise drops.

Personal Information We Collect

We collect the following information directly from you:

• Full name
• Birthdate
• Email address
• Mobile number
• Photo, and photos or videos captured at giveaway and community events
• Account credentials (username and password, stored in hashed form)
• Resume and professional information you choose to upload (work history, skills, education)
• Payment information. Subscription payments are handled by our third-party payment processors. We do not store your full card number; we receive only confirmation of payment and limited transaction details.

We also collect certain information automatically when you use the site — device type, browser, IP address, pages visited, and interactions — through cookies and similar technologies (see “Cookies and Tracking” below).

How We Collect It

Information is collected directly from you when you:

• Register for a paid subscription;
• Upload your resume;
• Check-in at physical giveaway events;
• Interact with our weekly Job Board updates; and
• Contact us or participate in surveys, webinars, or community activities.

Timing of Collection. Collection begins at initial account creation and continues throughout your active subscription.

Cookies and Tracking

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies, including Google Tag Manager, analytics tools, and the Meta (Facebook) Pixel. These help us understand how the site is used, measure the performance of our advertising, and show you relevant Crew Club content on other platforms. You can manage or disable cookies through your browser settings, and you can opt out of Meta’s ad targeting through your Facebook ad preferences. Disabling cookies may affect some site functionality.

Legal Bases for Processing

We process your personal data on the following bases under the Data Privacy Act:

• Contract — to create and manage your account, deliver your membership benefits, and process your subscription;
• Consent — for marketing communications, sharing your profile with employers, use of your name and likeness in publicity, and non-essential cookies;
• Legal obligation — to comply with DTI promotional permit requirements, tax, and record-keeping laws; and
• Legitimate interests — to secure our platform, prevent fraud, and improve our services, where these interests are not overridden by your rights.

How We Use Your Information

• Profile Matching. To connect your profile with verified employers on our Jobs Board. We share your profile or resume with an employer only when you apply for a role or expressly opt in to being put forward — we do not circulate your resume to employers automatically.
• Educational Delivery. To provide personalized resume templates and interview preparation.
• Promotional Compliance. To facilitate entry into Reward & Giveaway draws and ensure licensed and transparent winner selection under the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) regulations.
• Communication. To send weekly updates on new job roles and “Surprise Drop” announcements. You can unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time using the link in each message; we will still send you essential service messages about your account or subscription.
• Publicity. To feature winners in promotional materials, social media posts, and website testimonials. This includes the use of your name, likeness, and captured media (photos/videos) from prize handover events to verify the legitimacy of our draws and promote the “Crew Club” community.

How We Store and Protect Your Data

Your data is stored on encrypted cloud servers. Data transmitted between your device and our servers is encrypted in transit using TLS, and we apply access controls so that personal data is available only to personnel who need it to perform their roles.

Method of Use. Your data is used to populate your member dashboard, validate your entry in Reward & Giveaway draws, and share your professional profile with verified global employers seeking Filipino talent.

Who We Share Your Data With

We may share your information with:

• Verified employers, when you apply for a role or opt in to being put forward;
• The Department of Trade and Industry, to witness and audit Reward & Giveaway draws;
• Payment processors, to manage your subscription;
• Accredited courier services, to deliver prizes; and
• Service providers who host our platform and support our operations, under contracts that require them to protect your data.

Some of these recipients — including employers and our hosting providers — may be located outside the Philippines. Where your data is transferred overseas, we take steps to ensure it receives a comparable standard of protection, including contractual safeguards, consistent with the Data Privacy Act. We do not sell your personal data.

How Long We Keep Your Data

We retain your information for the duration of your subscription. Upon cancellation, data is retained for up to two (2) years to meet tax, audit, and record-keeping obligations, to administer any pending giveaway claims, and to resolve disputes, after which it is securely deleted or anonymised. You may request earlier deletion at any time; we will honour the request except where the law requires us to retain specific records.

Your Rights

Under the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173), you have the right to:

• Be informed whether personal information pertaining to you is being or has been processed;
• Be furnished a description of the personal information processed, the purposes, scope, and method of processing, and the recipients of your data;
• Reasonable access to your personal information;
• Correct your information;
• Object to the processing of your personal data, including for direct marketing;
• Suspend, withdraw, or order the blocking, removal, or destruction of your personal data (erasure or blocking);
• Obtain a copy of your data in a portable, commonly used format (data portability); and
• Be indemnified for damages sustained due to inaccurate, incomplete, false, unlawfully obtained, or unauthorised use of your personal data.

If you believe your rights have been violated, you may also lodge a complaint with the National Privacy Commission (privacy.gov.ph).

Age Requirement

Crew Club is intended for individuals aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal data, contact our Data Protection Officer and we will delete it.

Changes to This Notice

We may update this notice from time to time. Material changes will be notified to members by email or through the platform.
