About the Role

The Senior Structural Engineer is responsible for the analysis, design and documentation of structural elements and systems acrossa diverse portfolio of Australian building projects. Working closely with the firm’s Sydney-based engineering team, this role coversconcrete, steel and post-tensioned structures from concept and scheme design through to detailed design and constructionsupport.

This is a senior, hands-on engineering role. • Contribute to value engineering exercises, identifying efficient and buildable structural solutions.
  • Assist with building remediation, alteration and addition projects, including assessment of existing structures.
  • Prepare design sketches and mark-ups for the drafting team, and review structural drawings for accuracy and completeness.

  • Respond to requests for information (RFIs) and assist with shop drawing reviews and construction phase queries.
  • Maintain organised project records, calculations and file structures in line with the firm’s QA systems.
  • Communicate progress, risks and design issues clearly and proactively to the Sydney team in daily/weekly check-ins.
  • Mentor and review the work of junior offshore engineers as the team grows.
